Did this article mean that, (after the introduction of PCV-7 and HIB vaccines) we are much less concerned of an occult bacteremia in a WELL appearing, 3-36 month old febrile child with a negative urine analysis (even better culture) if the child is UP TO DATE with his vaccinations or of he/she has COMPLETED all HIB/PCV7 vaccine schedule (i.e. not until 18 months)?
